- Required courses of NTU (12 credits):
Chinese, Foreign Languages, Advanced English One/Two, Physical Education One/Two/Three/Four, and Public Services One/Two.


- Courses of General Knowledge (12 credits):
Of the eight fields of NTU courses of General Knowledge, this department takes in the following fields: A1: Literature and Arts, A2: History, A3: World Civilization, A4: Philosophy and Ethics, A5: Civil Consciousness and Social Analysis.


- Required core courses: 27 credits in total, including :
Calculus, Introduction to Forestry, Introduction to Forest Ecology and Silviculture, Forest Products, Introduction of Forest Environment, Statistics, Forest Camp Practices, Forest Management, and Seminars.

- Required grouped courses: 12-21 credits (refer to the requirements of different course groups).

- Advanced required grouped courses: 23-28 credits (refer to the requirements of different course groups).
